For ISE, OmmaSign and Philips Professional Displays built a working coffee corner inside the Philips booth, a menu board that takes your order straight to your phone and keeps the barista in sync, all running on the displays themselves.

Make interactive signage work in a real coffee corner.
OmmaSign and Philips wanted a booth experience that did more than play a loop, a live coffee bar visitors could actually order from, end to end.
The point was to prove that a digital menu board could take an order, hand it to the customer's phone, and keep the barista in sync, without extra hardware bolted on, running entirely on standard Philips displays.

The whole setup ran on Philips displays with built-in Android, no external media players, just the screens.
How it worked

A menu board that updates itself
Prices and items sat on dynamic layers wired to a live data source, so the menu refreshes from data instead of being re-designed by hand.

Scan to self-order
A second screen showed a QR code, guests scanned it and placed their order from their own phone, moving the moment from the wall to their pocket.

A queue screen for the barista
A third screen faced the counter with the live order queue, so every order placed from a phone appeared instantly in front of the barista.

Runs on the display itself
Everything ran on Philips Android-SoC screens, keeping the hardware footprint to nothing but the displays on the wall.

The QR hand-off is the bridge, the board draws you in, but the order and the wait live on the device in your pocket. The same pattern fits any quick-service counter, not just a trade-show coffee bar.
